
I love homemade cookies and really wanted to add this to my recipe box for a holiday cookie. But, even though I followed the directions exactly as written, the bottoms of the cookies were almost burnt and the middles were still raw. OK, I get it. I needed to lower the heat, cook for a longer time, not brush the parchment sheets with the rum-butter mixture and even flatten the cookie. I’m really glad that everyone else loved these cookies, but I will not be making them again.
